Setting Up Kakao Maps

Before connecting Kakao Maps, there are a few steps you need to complete. Please follow the instructions below carefully.

1.Create an App 1) Please connect to Kakao Developers, then click the Login button to sign in with your Kakao account.

2) Click App in the top menu.

3) Click Create App.

4) Enter the App name, Company name, and Category, check the checkbox at the bottom, then click Save.

2. App Settings

1) Click the app you created.

2) Go to Product Link > Register Web Domain.

① Site domain

Please enter all of the following domains.

① Enter the creatorlink.net domain with http://

• http://creatorlink.net

② For a free Creatorlink address, enter both http:// and https://

• http://example.creatorlink.net

• https://example.creatorlink.net

③ If you have a connected custom domain, enter both http:// and https://

• http://example.com

• https://example.com

Sample 1)

If your domain is a free creatorlink.net address, such as abc.creatorlink.net, enter it as shown below.

Sample 2)

If your domain is a connected external domain, such as abc.com, enter it as shown below.

② After entering the domains, click Save.

3.Apply an App Key

1) Go to the Kakao Map menu, then in Usage Settings, toggle the switch to turn the status ON.

2) Go to Platform Key, then click the copy icon under the JavaScript Key.

3) In the Creatorlink admin page, go to Advanced Settings > Kakao App > Kakao Link Settings, paste the JavaScript key you copied, then click the check button.

If you want to enable sharing via Kakao Link in Gallery/Forum block, turn on Use Kakao Link. Kakao Map can be enabled and used in the Map block.
