# Naver Sender Email

### Step 1: Email Settings

**Sign in** to Naver and click **\[Settings]** in the bottom left corner.

Go to **\[POP3/IMAP]** → **\[IMAP/SMTP Settings]**.

Change IMAP/SMTP to **\[Enable]** and click the **\[Save]** button.

### Step 2: Create App Password

Go to **\[Security Settings]** in the left menu → **\[Basic Security]** → **\[2-Step Verification]** and click **\[Manage]**.

If no device is registered, please register a device first.

If your preferred device is not on the list, follow the Naver guide below and click **\[Refresh]**.

* *Note: The instruction below appears when you click "Device not on the list."*

**If your device is not listed:**

* Update the Naver app to the **latest version** on the device where you wish to receive notifications.
* Sign in to the latest Naver app with the ID you want to set up for **2-Step Verification**.
* Ensure the device is **capable of making calls**. Devices without a USIM or call functions (e.g., certain iPads) cannot generate OTP authentication.

If the device still doesn't appear after these steps, please review the **\[Check!]** list below.

**Check!**

* Remove unused devices and, for better security, **'Log out'** of the deleted devices on the Login History page.
* Enable notifications in the **Naver app settings** on your selected device.
* Enable notifications for the Naver app in your **Device (OS) settings**.
* Ensure your device's time is set to **'Automatic'** to complete the authentication.

Go to **\[Manage App Passwords → Generate App Password], Select the application type** and click the **\[Generate]** button.

**Copy** the generated app password.

### Step 3: Complete Sender Email Settings

**Return** to the Block Settings screen and **paste the copied app password** into the Password field.

(Note: Changes will take effect only after you publish your site.)
