# Google Sender Email
### Step 1: Email Settings
**Go to Google** and sign in. Click your **Profile icon** in the top right and select **\[Manage your Google Account].**
From the left menu, go to **\[Security & sign-in]** and click on **\[2-Step Verification].**
Click on **\[Phone number].**
Under the 2-Step Verification phone numbers section, click **\[Add phone number].**
Enter your phone number and click **\[Next]** to complete the registration.
### Step 2: Create App Password
Click **\[Google Account]** in the top left to return to the settings page, then go to the **\[Google Account Settings →Security & sign-in]** menu.
Type "**app passwords**" in the search bar and select **\[App passwords]** from the search results.
Enter an **\[App name]** and click the **\[Create]** button.
* Tip: We recommend using a descriptive name like "mail-sender" for easier management.
**Copy** the generated app password.
### Step 3: Complete Sender Email Settings
Return to the Block Settings screen and **paste the copied app password** into the Password field.
(Note: Changes will take effect only after you publish your site.)
