# CAPTCHA

A **CAPTCHA** (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a program **intended to distinguish human from machine input**, typically **as a way of thwarting spam and automated data extraction from websites.** 

For your website security, we recommend that you use the CAPTCHA for member registration.

1\. Click the **Manage Members > Register** on the **Admin page.**

2\. Turn **on** the **Captcha** option.
